APAFLON® Extruded Tubes and Rods are produced by a manufacturing process in which pre-forming and sintering of PTFE are carried out simultaneously.

In APAMEYA’s standard productions, Extruded Tubes and Rods start with min. 8mm outer diameter and can be produced in different intermediate sizes up to 70mm outer diameter as filled and hollow. APAFLON® Rods can be produced for more limited diameters compared to Molded Tubes and Rods, while they can be diversified with their lengths. As standard, 1000mm lengths are available, but with special productions, different lengths up to 3000mm can be produced. Especially in the production of machined parts, APAFLON® Extruded Tubes and Rods provide significant advantages in the amount of waste compared to other product groups.
